Loyola Cubs (Los Angeles, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Alemany Warriors (Mission Hills, CA), 62-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Loyola upgrades its record to 13-10 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to Crespi (Encino, CA) to play the Celts in a Mission bout on Friday, January 19. The Celts come into the bout with a record of 19-5. Crespi won 80-72 in their recent league bout against Chaminade (West Hills, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) in a Mission bout, on Friday, January 19. Alemany will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record. The Golden Knights come into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 65-42 league loss to Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA).
