The Bishop Montgomery Knights basketball team (Torrance, CA), was nudged 56-55 in Wednesday's league battle with the host St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA)
The Vikings now possess a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Serra for a Del Rey battle on Friday, January 19. St. Bernard will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 77-55 league loss to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 14-9.
The Knights (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen come into the Del Rey battle with a 8-14 record. In their last battle, St. Paul was nudged by St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA), 77-51, in a league battle.
