The Bloomsburg Panthers basketball team scored 84 points and held the host Warrior Run Defenders to 43 in the Panthers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyalsock Township for a Heartland III contest on Saturday, January 20. Bloomsburg will battle a Lancers team coming off a 76-71 league win over Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 13-1.

The Defenders (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hughesville (Hughesville, PA). The Spartans enter the Heartland III contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Hughesville was routed by Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA), 64-48, in a league contest.
