The Boston College High Eagles (Boston, MA) basketball felled the visiting St. John's Pioneers (Shrewsbury, MA), 62-43 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA). The Knights go into the Catholic test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Catholic Memorial thwarted St. John's Prep (Danvers, MA), 83-57, in a league test.

The Pioneers now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Malden Catholic for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. St. John's will encounter a Lancers squad coming off a 62-60 league loss to Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-6.
