St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Boyne City Ramblers (Boyne City, MI), 35-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, St. Francis upgrades its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Grayling (Grayling, MI) to play the Vikings in a Lake Michigan bout on Friday, January 19. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 7-4. Grayling won 48-38 in their recent league bout against Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI)

Next up, the Ramblers play the East Jordan Red Devils (East Jordan, MI) in a Lake Michigan bout, on Friday, January 19. Boyne City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 66-42 league loss to Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI).
