The Castleberry Lions basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Lake Worth Bullfrogs to 40 in the Lions league victory on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 7-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springtown for a 4A Region I District 8 contest on Friday, January 19. Castleberry will battle a Porcupines team coming off a 61-40 league win over Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX). The Porcupines record now stands at 13-10.

The Bullfrogs (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Decatur (Decatur, TX). The Eagles come into the 4A Region I District 8 contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, Decatur was nudged by Krum (Krum, TX), 54-43, in a league contest.
