California High School Basketball - Cathedral overwhelmed by St. Monica

The St. Monica Mariners basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Cathedral Phantoms to 45 in the Mariners league victory on Wednesday.
The Mariners now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salesian for a Camino Real contest on Friday, January 19. St. Monica will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 65-55 league loss to Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-12.
The Phantoms (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Paraclete (Lancaster, CA). The Spirits come into the Camino Real contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Paraclete triumphed over Shalhevet (Los Angeles, CA), 62-59, in a non-league contest.
