The Cazenovia Lakers (Cazenovia, NY) basketball felled the visiting Mt. Markham Mustangs (West Winfield, NY), 77-59 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Lakers (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Solvay (Solvay, NY). The Bearcats go into the Section 3 Onondaga - Liberty National test with a 1-7 record.
The Mustangs now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Sauquoit Valley for a Section 3 Center State III test on Friday, January 19. Mt. Markham will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 79-71 non-league loss to Cooperstown (Cooperstown, NY). The Indians record now stands at 7-6.
