The Midd-West Mustangs basketball team (Middleburg, PA), was overwhelmed 58-35 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA)

The Bluejays now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewisburg for a Heartland II battle on Friday, January 19. Central Columbia will confront a Green Dragons team coming off a 53-39 league loss to Montoursville (Montoursville, PA). The Green Dragons record now stands at 5-6.

The Mustangs (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA). The Wildcats come into the Heartland I battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Mifflinburg was routed by Danville (Danville, PA), 54-42, in a non-league battle.
