Texas High School Basketball - Eagle Pass can't hold off United South

The United South Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Eagle Pass Eagles to 55 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.
The Panthers now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Laredo LBJ for a 6A Region IV District 30 contest on Friday, January 19. United South will battle a Wolves team coming off a 58-47 league loss to United (Laredo, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 16-14.
The Eagles (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Del Rio (Del Rio, TX). The Rams come into the 6A Region IV District 30 contest with a 7-12 record.
