With the victory, Hampton County improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Hilton Head Christian Academy lost 67-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Sumter (Sumter, SC)

Next up, the Cougars confront the Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars (Ridgeland, SC) in a AA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Edisto will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 35-34 league win over Barnwell (Barnwell, SC).
