Nevada High School Basketball - Elko holds off Spring Creek

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) and the host Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV), saw Elko's basketball squad hold off Spring Creek by a tally of 48-47.

With the victory, Elko improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to confront the Greenwave in a 3A Northern - East challenge on Friday, January 26. The Greenwave come into the challenge with a record of 10-10.

Next up, the Spartans confront the Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV) in a 3A Northern - East challenge, on Friday, January 26. Spring Creek will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Buckaroos come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 66-33 league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV).
