New Jersey High School Basketball - Emerson can't hold off Park Ridge

The Park Ridge Owls basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Emerson Cavaliers to 46 in the Owls league victory on Wednesday.
The Owls now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cresskill for a Northwest Jersey - Patriot B contest on Friday, January 19. Park Ridge will battle a Cougars team coming off a 63-59 non-league win over Midland Park (Midland Park, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 7-7.
The Cavaliers (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Waldwick (Waldwick, NJ). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Waldwick edged Leonia (Leonia, NJ), 74-73, in a non-league contest.
