Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) and the visiting Newport Tigers (Newport, NH), saw Fall Mountain's basketball squad knock off Newport by a tally of 75-55.

With the victory, Fall Mountain improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH) to play the Huskies in a Division III challenge on Friday, January 19. The Huskies come into the challenge with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Tigers play the Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH) in a Division III challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Newport will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 51-48 league win over Stevens (Claremont, NH).
