The Premont Cowboys basketball team (Premont, TX), was routed 74-52 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Freer Buckaroos (Freer, TX)

The Buckaroos now sport a 8-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Agua Dulce for a 2A Region IV District 32 battle on Tuesday, January 23. Freer will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 48-32 league win over Premont (Premont, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 18-8.

The Cowboys (4-17) will now prepare for their battle against Agua Dulce (Agua Dulce, TX). The Longhorns come into the 2A Region IV District 32 battle with a 17-8 record. In their last battle, Agua Dulce trounced Ben Bolt (Ben Bolt, TX), 60-30, in a league battle.
