The Newman Smith Trojans (Carrollton, TX) basketball felled the host Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 69-54 in Wednesday's league test.
The Trojans (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Wakeland (Frisco, TX). The Wolverines go into the 5A Region II District 9 test with a 4-15 record. In their last test, Wakeland was beaten by Reedy (Frisco, TX), 63-56, in a league test.
The Raccoons now own a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lone Star for a 5A Region II District 9 test on Friday, January 19. Frisco will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 64-53 league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 21-3.
