The Ramapo Raiders routed the visiting Hackensack Comets basketball team by a final score of 71-43 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Raiders face the Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 18. Ramapo will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 8-4 record after their 49-46 league win over Wayne Hills (Wayne, NJ).

With the defeat, Hackensack moves to 7-6 on the year. The Comets host Eastside (Paterson, NJ) to face the Ghosts in a non-league game on Thursday, January 18. The Ghosts enter the game with a record of 8-5. Eastside won 44-34 in their recent league game against Kennedy (Paterson, NJ)
