North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA), 90-36 in a league bout.

With the win, North Murray upgrades its record to 15-3 on the season. The Mountaineers host Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA) to play the Rebels in a AA Region 7 bout on Friday, January 19. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 8-8.

Next up, the Rebels play the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) in a AA Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 19. Haralson County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 53-43 league win over Murray County (Chatsworth, GA).
