Riverside Chargers (Cedar Rapids, NE) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets (Grand Island, NE), 71-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Chargers travel to Central Valley (Greeley, NE) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Central Valley won 55-48 in their recent non-league bout against Nebraska Christian (Central City, NE)

Next up, the Red Hornets clash with the Franklin Flyers (Franklin, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Heartland Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Flyers go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 55-40 non-league loss to Kenesaw (Kenesaw, NE).
