The Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons (Saginaw, MI) basketball felled the visiting Heston Academy Patriots (St. Helen, MI), 29-20 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Dragons (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Vassar (Vassar, MI). The Vulcans go into the non-league test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Vassar was beaten by Laker (Pigeon, MI), 65-24, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Oscoda for a North Star test on Thursday, January 18. Heston Academy will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 47-36 league loss to Alcona (Lincoln, MI). The Owls record now stands at 7-4.
