Spectators at Wednesday's league test between the Highland Park Owls (Highland Park, NJ) and the host Somerset Tech Jaguars (Bridgewater, NJ), witnessed Highland Park's basketball squad beat Somerset Tech by a margin of 70-60.

The Owls (5-7) will now prepare for their test against College Achieve (Asbury Park, NJ). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, College Achieve thwarted Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ), 76-66, in a non-league test.

The Jaguars now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they travel to Perth Amboy Vo-Tech for a Greater Middlesex - Gold test on Friday, January 19. Somerset Tech will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 53-45 league win over Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 7-4.
