Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA), 69-68 in a league bout.

With the win, Venice upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Gondoliers host University (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Wildcats in a Western bout on Friday, January 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-13. University won 57-20 in their recent non-league bout against EF Academy (Pasadena, CA)

Next up, the Unicorns play the Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western bout, on Monday, January 22. Los Angeles CES will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record.
