The Mendon Unity Mustangs basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting West Prairie Cyclones to 41 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rushville-Industry for a West Central contest on Thursday, January 18. Mendon Unity will meet a Rockets team coming off a 88-67 league loss to Beardstown (Beardstown, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 4-9.

The Cyclones (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL). The Patriots enter the Prairieland contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Peoria Heights was routed by Farmington (Farmington, IL), 72-69, in a league contest.
