The Riverview Pirates basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Milan Big Reds to 52 in the Pirates league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huron for a Huron contest on Friday, January 19. Riverview will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 71-68 non-league win over Taylor (Taylor, MI). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-4.

The Big Reds (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels enter the Huron contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, St. Mary Catholic Central was defeated by Inter-City Baptist (Allen Park, MI), 60-55, in a non-league contest.
