The Winthrop Ramblers basketball team (Winthrop, ME), was toppled 54-46 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Monmouth Academy Mustangs (Monmouth, ME)

The Mustangs now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Yarmouth Academy for a C South battle on Saturday, January 20. Monmouth Academy will confront a Panthers team coming off a 71-50 league loss to Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.

The Ramblers (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Madison (Madison, ME). The Bulldogs come into the C South battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Madison was toppled by Mount Abram (Strong, ME), 52-39, in a league battle.
