With the victory, Palmyra improves its record to 14-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Brookfield (Brookfield, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a Clarence Cannon challenge on Tuesday, January 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Panthers confront the Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Monroe City will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Canton (Canton, MO).
