The North Schuylkill Spartans ran past the host Tamaqua Blue Raiders basketball team by a final score of 74-66 in Wednesday's league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Blue Mountain Eagles (Schuylkill Haven, PA) in a Schuylkill County 1 game, on Friday, January 19. North Schuylkill will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 13-1 record after their 62-59 league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA).
