In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Plainfield Cardinals basketball team scored a decisive 50-28 triumph over the Union Farmers.
In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Rahway Indians (Rahway, NJ) in a Union County match, on Saturday, January 20. Plainfield will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record.
