The Red Bud Musketeers (Red Bud, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Waterloo Bulldogs (Waterloo, IL), 39-37 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Musketeers (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Freeburg (Freeburg, IL). The Midgets go into the non-league test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Freeburg was tipped by Waterloo (Waterloo, IL), 61-45, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Freeburg for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Waterloo will meet a Midgets team coming off a 57-20 non-league win over Trico (Campbell Hill, IL). The Midgets record now stands at 11-9.
