Texas High School Basketball - Santa Gertrudis Academy can't hold off San Diego

The San Diego Vaqueros basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions to 60 in the Vaqueros league victory on Wednesday.
The Vaqueros now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hebbronville for a 3A Region IV District 30 contest on Friday, January 19. San Diego will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 46-42 league loss to Banquete (Banquete, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-16.
The Lions (13-10) will now prepare for their contest against London (Corpus Christi, TX). The Pirates come into the 3A Region IV District 30 contest with a 14-11 record.
