In Wednesday's league outing, the West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights (Plainsboro, NJ) basketball squad edged the visiting Steinert Spartans (Hamilton, NJ), by a count of 47-40.

The Knights (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Lawrence (Lawrenceville, NJ). The Cardinals go into the Colonial Valley outing with a 5-6 record.

The Spartans now hold a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Montgomery for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 17. Steinert will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 77-29 non-league win over Carteret (Carteret, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 10-1.
