Admiral Farragut BlueJackets (St. Petersburg, FL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Universal Academy Falcons (Tampa, FL), 41-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Admiral Farragut upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The BlueJackets travel to Northside Christian (St. Petersburg, FL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Northside Christian won 48-21 in their recent non-league bout against Lakeside Christian (Clearwater, FL)

Next up, the Falcons play the Cristo Rey Tampa Panthers (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Universal Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 52-3 league win over Tampa Bay Christian Academy (Tampa, FL).
