Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Amboy Clippers (Amboy, IL) and the host Polo Marcos (Polo, IL), saw Amboy's basketball squad overcome Polo by a tally of 42-30.

With the victory, Amboy improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Clippers host Eastland (Lanark, IL) to play the Cougars in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South challenge on Friday, January 19. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Eastland won 44-31 in their recent league challenge against Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL)

Next up, the Marcos play the Dakota Indians (Dakota, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 20. Polo will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 59-33 league loss to Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL).
