With the win, Bowie upgrades its record to 14-13 on the season. The Volunteers travel to Martin (Arlington, TX) to play the Warriors in a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Friday, January 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Martin won 37-25 in their recent league bout against Arlington (Arlington, TX)

Next up, the Vikings play the South Grand Prairie Warriors (Grand Prairie, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 bout, on Friday, January 19. Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 20-3 record after their 82-7 league win over Haltom (Haltom City, TX).
