The Francis Lewis Patriots (Fresh Meadows, NY) basketball crushed the host Bowne Wildcats (Flushing, NY), 60-27 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Patriots (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Newtown (Elmhurst, NY). The Pioneers go into the PSAL AAAA Queens I test with a 2-8 record.
The Wildcats now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Hills for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Bowne will encounter a Rangers squad coming off a 53-47 league loss to Queens Complex (Queens, NY). The Rangers record now stands at 3-6.
