Texas High School Basketball - Center Point ripped by Johnson City

The Johnson City Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Center Point Pirates to 17 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harper for a 2A Region IV District 29 contest on Friday, January 19. Johnson City will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 69-25 league loss to Goldthwaite (Goldthwaite, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 5-12.
The Pirates (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against San Saba (San Saba, TX). The Armadillos enter the 2A Region IV District 29 contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, San Saba triumphed over Johnson City (Johnson City, TX), 42-27, in a league contest.
