With the win, Memorial upgrades its record to 17-12 on the season. The Mustangs host Northbrook (Houston, TX) to play the Raiders in a 6A Region III District 17 bout on Friday, January 19. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-16. Northbrook lost 48-17 in their recent league bout against Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Stratford Spartans (Houston, TX) in a 6A Region III District 17 bout, on Friday, January 19. Cypress Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 13-14 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 14-10 record after their 60-34 league win over Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX).
