Virginia High School Basketball - Lewis overwhelmed by Edison

The Edison Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Lewis Lancers to 18 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology for a District 3 contest on Thursday, January 18. Edison will battle a Colonials team coming off a 64-24 league win over Lewis (Springfield, VA). The Colonials record now stands at 7-6.
The Lancers (1-13) will now prepare for their contest against Hayfield (Alexandria, VA). The Hawks come into the District 3 contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, Hayfield triumphed over Justice (Falls Church, VA), 57-23, in a league contest.
