Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sunapee Lakers (Sunapee, NH), 49-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Nute (Milton, NH) to play the Rams in a Division IV bout on Friday, January 19. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Lakers play the Newmarket Mules (Newmarket, NH) in a Division IV bout, on Friday, January 19. Sunapee will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Mules go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 41-11 league win over Pittsfield (Pittsfield, NH).
