The Pecatonica Indians basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Genoa-Kingston Cogs to 30 in the Indians non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Indians now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pearl City for a Northwest Upstate Illini - North contest on Friday, January 19. Pecatonica will meet a Wolves team coming off a 57-37 league loss to Aquin Catholic (Freeport, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 3-17.

The Cogs (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Harvest Christian Academy (Elgin, IL). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Harvest Christian Academy was routed by Larkin (Elgin, IL), 37-30, in a non-league contest.
