In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Hadley Luzerne Eagles basketball team scored a good 46-37 triumph over the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Whitehall Railroaders (Whitehall, NY) in a Section 2 Adirondack I match, on Friday, January 19. Hadley Luzerne will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Railroaders enter the match with a 5-7 record after their 32-15 league win over North Warren Central (Chestertown, NY).
With the defeat, Waterford-Halfmoon moves to 4-9 on the year. The Fordians host Emma Willard (Troy, NY) to meet the Jesters in a Section 2 Wasaren match on Tuesday, January 23. The Jesters enter the match with a record of 4-2.
