Virginia High School Basketball - Hayfield smashes Justice

The Hayfield Hawks basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Justice Wolves to 23 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.
The Hawks now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lewis for a District 3 contest on Thursday, January 18. Hayfield will meet a Lancers team coming off a 61-18 league loss to Edison (Alexandria, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-13.
The Wolves (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Vernon (Alexandria, VA). The Majors enter the District 3 contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Mount Vernon triumphed over Annandale (Annandale, VA), 64-26, in a league contest.
