Texas High School Basketball - Richardson knocked off by Highland Park

The Highland Park Scots basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Richardson Eagles to 45 in the Scots league triumph on Wednesday.

The Scots now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host MacArthur for a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Friday, January 19. Highland Park will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 47-46 league win over Irving (Irving, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-17.

The Eagles (17-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX). The Wildcats enter the 6A Region I District 7 contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Lake Highlands ran past Nimitz (Irving, TX), 66-29, in a league contest.
