The Morningside Monarchs basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Inglewood Sentinels to 14 in the Monarchs league win on Wednesday.

With the win, Morningside upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Monarchs travel to Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA) to play the Cougars in a Ocean bout on Friday, January 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Hawthorne lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA)

Next up, the Sentinels play the Beverly Hills Normans (Beverly Hills, CA) in a Ocean bout, on Friday, January 19. Inglewood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Normans go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 62-30 league win over Centennial (Compton, CA).
