In Wednesday's league match, the host Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks basketball team scored a decisive 72-29 triumph over the Lake Marion Gators.
In their next game, the Landsharks meet the Timberland Wolves (St. Stephen, SC) in a AA Region 7 match, on Friday, January 19. Oceanside Collegiate Academy will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Wolves enter the match with a 9-7 record after their 45-42 league loss to Bishop England (Charleston, SC).
With the defeat, Lake Marion moves to 5-9 on the year. The Gators host First Baptist School (Charleston, SC) to meet the Hurricanes in a non-league match on Saturday, January 20. The Hurricanes enter the match with a record of 14-7.
