Ohio High School Basketball - Lakewood can't hold off Northridge

The Northridge Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Lakewood Lancers to 53 in the Vikings league victory on Wednesday.

The Vikings now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Utica for a Licking County - Cardinal contest on Saturday, January 20. Northridge will battle a Redskins team coming off a 48-42 league loss to Newark Catholic (Newark, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 6-8.

The Lancers (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Heath (Heath, OH). The Bulldogs come into the Licking County - Cardinal contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Heath was nudged by Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH), 50-41, in a league contest.
