The Strawn Greyhounds basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Lingleville Cardinals to 37 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Wednesday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huckabay for a 1A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, January 19. Strawn will battle a Indians team coming off a 45-20 league win over Lingleville (Lingleville, TX). The Indians record now stands at 19-9.

The Cardinals (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX). The Bobcats enter the 1A Region III District 19 contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Bluff Dale was nudged by Gordon (Gordon, TX), 78-9, in a league contest.
