Washington Montessori Eagles (Washington, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners (Grantsboro, NC), 45-6 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Washington Montessori upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Eastern Christian HomeSchool (Washington, NC) to play the Trailblazers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Trailblazers go into the bout with a record of 19-3. Eastern Christian HomeSchool won 46-30 in their recent non-league bout against Greenville Christian Academy (Greenville, NC)

Next up, the Mariners play the Christ Covenant Spartan (Winterville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Pamlico Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Spartan go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 60-37 non-league win over Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, NC).
