The Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA) basketball felled the host Pottstown Trojans (Pottstown, PA), 44-27 in Wednesday's league test.
The Vikings (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Perkiomen Valley (Collegeville, PA). The Vikings go into the Pioneer test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Perkiomen Valley thwarted Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA), 50-46, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Spring-Ford for a Pioneer test on Thursday, January 18. Pottstown will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 73-20 league win over Norristown (Norristown, PA). The Rams record now stands at 13-3.
