R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Reagan Raiders (Pfafftown, NC), 44-42 in a league bout.

With the win, R.J. Reynolds upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Demons travel to Davie (Mocksville, NC) to clash with the War Eagles in a 4A Central Piedmont bout on Friday, January 19. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-6. Davie won 60-39 in their recent league bout against Glenn (Kernersville, NC)

Next up, the Raiders clash with the East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC) in a 4A Central Piedmont bout, on Friday, January 19. Reagan will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 30-26 league win over West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC).
